Event – Scaling India’s Energy Transition through Business Action
Date: Thursday, 28 May 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM IST (GMT+5:30)
Location: Aerocity, New Delhi (In-person)
Business-civil society closed-door convening to exchange ideas, learnings and accelerate value chain collaboration.
India’s energy transition is entering a decisive phase — translating ambition and targets to large-scale implementation across industries and energy systems. For businesses, this transition is no longer only about climate ambition or reporting commitments. Amid rising geopolitical uncertainty and energy price volatility, it is now closely linked to supply chain reliability, cost management, business continuity, investor expectations and customer requirements.
This closed-door convening will bring together companies and business-oriented civil society organizations (CSO) to explore how supply chains can become a practical and scalable lever for decarbonization, operational resilience and long-term business value.
The discussion will focus on how businesses can advance energy transition efforts through electrification, renewable electricity adoption and energy efficiency, while strengthening the data and collaboration foundations needed to implement these changes across value chains. It will particularly highlight and explore how companies can move from measurement to action. The session is designed as an implementation-oriented discussion focused on practical barriers, collaboration models and scalable pathways for action across value chains.
The event will feature the launch of two practical resources designed to support business action: We Mean Business Coalition’s India – Energy Transition Business Action Checklists and SME Climate Hub’s Switching to Renewable Electricity in India. Together, these resources provide companies with a practical toolkit to identify opportunities and implement energy transition actions across operations and value chains.
