EU policy

The Coalition and partners mobilize European businesses behind EU policy frameworks that accelerate clean electrification, strengthen clean industry and build a competitive, resilient Europe.

Mobilizing voices for Europe’s energy transition

The Coalition brings the voices of business into key EU policy debates. We work with partners to define the policy and regulatory framework that will accelerate business action to build a clean, prosperous economy.

As policy files are shaped in Brussels and decided by Member States, we ensure the experiences of ambitious businesses are heard. We support companies to use their voice through guidance on responsible advocacy tailored to the EU context, and targeted interventions.

Regulations and standards

Advising on coherent regulations that reward credible action, such as the EU CSRD.

Why Europe?

With a single market of 450 million people, 34 million businesses and €18 trillion in GDP, the EU has an outsized role in international climate diplomacy and in shaping global climate policy. Its decisions on climate, energy and industrial policy influence regulatory standards, investment conditions and business practice far beyond its borders, including through rules governing imports.
